Responsibilities
- Design and implement runtime infrastructure, deployment, upgrade, and orchestration systems for Azure Managed Redis.
- Integrate Redis Enterprise software into Azure while maintaining availability, consistency, security, and performance.
- Build platform capabilities for scalability, operational efficiency, deployment safety, and service reliability.
- Write production-grade code and develop unit, integration, and end-to-end testing strategies for distributed systems.
- Improve developer productivity, troubleshooting, operational workflows, observability, monitoring, and diagnostics.
- Collaborate across engineering teams and mentor engineers on distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, and software engineering practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 4+ years of technical engineering experience with coding, or equivalent experience.
- Experience coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Ability to meet Microsoft Cloud Background Check and other applicable security screening requirements.
- Preferred: master's degree with 6+ years of experience, or bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience building and operating distributed, highly scalable online services on Kubernetes in Azure or a similar cloud platform.
- Preferred: experience with AI-assisted development tools, large language models, or automation technologies and demonstrated ability to improve engineering systems, productivity, reliability, or quality at scale.
