Responsibilities
- Architect and implement globally distributed, high-throughput, low-latency identity verification and seller registration services.
- Build stateless microservices, event-driven systems, asynchronous processing patterns, and scalable multi-region data models.
- Design for cross-regional data consistency, cache invalidation, distributed transactions, fault tolerance, high availability, and complex state management.
- Develop automation frameworks for accurate, horizontally scalable identity verification and fraud prevention.
- Apply security protocols and identity management practices to marketplace verification systems.
- Lead design and architecture decisions for new and existing systems, including reliability and scaling considerations.
- Participate in coding, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, operations, and CI/CD pipeline maintenance.
- Mentor engineers or serve as a technical lead or engineering team leader.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- 5+ years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience as a mentor, technical lead, or engineering team leader.
- Preferred: 5+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
