Responsibilities
- Engineer and evolve a high-performance, distributed trading platform.
- Translate complex requirements from quants, traders, and business stakeholders into scalable technical solutions.
- Develop low-latency, reliable, and traceable software for market data, order placement, and trading operations.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote technical growth, collaboration, and engineering excellence.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, integrate useful third-party tools, and improve the technology stack.
- Contribute to code reviews, testing, deployment, adoption, and on-call operations.
Requirements
- Professional software development experience with a strongly typed language such as C++, Java, or Rust and the ability to work productively in other languages.
- In-depth understanding of algorithms and data structures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong teamwork, ownership, and willingness to learn new skills.
- Experience with LLM-augmented development and rapid prototyping.
- Comfort participating in an on-call operations rotation.
- BSc or MSc in Computing Science, Mathematics, or another quantitative field.
- Nice-to-have experience with Kafka, Chronicle Queue, gRPC, Google Cloud Platform, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, trading, or Python.
