Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements with engineering and program management staff and translate them into technical designs.
- Present and review technical designs with team members.
- Implement requirements in software components and applications.
- Verify technical, functional, and corporate requirements before delivery.
- Investigate and address requirement violations in software systems.
- Track and report task, deliverable, and issue status to the software engineering team.
- Contribute to planning, design, implementation, verification, deployment, and support activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and four years of relevant experience, graduate degree and two years of relevant experience, or eight years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics.
- Four years of commercial or government software development experience.
- Four years of C# and Visual Studio experience; Java experience may be a substitute.
- Four years of experience with relevant technologies, software development methodologies, and programming languages.
- Preferred qualifications include complex problem solving, technical design communication, WPF/XAML, SOLID principles, design patterns, UML, Azure DevOps source control with Git, and multithreaded application development.
