Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance scalable backend services and distributed platform capabilities for SD-WAN Manager.
- Design foundational platform capabilities supporting multiple product teams and applications.
- Build services, APIs, workflows, platform architecture, developer tooling, build systems, and runtime-reliability capabilities.
- Improve scalability, maintainability, observability, telemetry, performance, security, and operational excellence.
- Debug complex issues, perform root-cause analysis, and contribute to automated testing and quality engineering.
- Collaborate across teams and use AI-powered development tools and agentic assistants to improve engineering effectiveness.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software development experience.
- BE/BTech/MS/MCA in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong Java and data structures and algorithms expertise, with experience building and scaling high-performance applications, services, and APIs.
- Experience with observability and monitoring solutions, telemetry pipelines, performance optimization, security protocols, authentication, authorization, secure coding, and resilient systems.
- Experience developing scalable applications and services with exposure to distributed systems, cloud-native technologies, and Linux-based environments.
- Hands-on experience with debugging, root-cause analysis, CI/CD, automated testing, and modern quality engineering practices.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Python or Go experience is preferred.
- Experience with SD-WAN, routing, controller-based networking, network management systems, and digital certificates is preferred.
