Responsibilities
- Develop and improve backend systems through greenfield development and enhancement of existing systems.
- Build REST APIs and engineer microservices for card payments, treasury management, transaction booking, crypto liquidity, and other business-critical systems.
- Design and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing systems using Java, PostgreSQL, and Spring Boot.
- Develop maintainable business logic using clean code, TDD, DDD, and continuous integration and delivery.
Requirements
- Demonstrable backend development experience with fluency in Java.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or another engineering or science discipline.
- English fluency with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A track record of building complex products used by millions of people in hypergrowth startups.
- A quick-learning, ambitious, and results-driven approach.
