Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the technical vision and direction for a unified developer platform connecting code commits to satellite operations.
- Design and build automation, stability, release-process, analytics, root-cause attribution, narrative-generation, and bug-discovery capabilities.
- Work with principal engineers and release teams to understand workflows, use cases, pain points, and inefficiencies.
- Apply metrics and measurement techniques to evaluate system and service performance.
- Contribute to hiring, developing, retaining, and growing high-performing engineers.
- Develop simple solutions to fundamental problems using first-principles thinking.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- 1+ years designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, or services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- 1+ years of object-oriented design experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: 3+ years covering the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
