Responsibilities
- Embed with marketing functions to understand workflows and identify opportunities for AI solutions.
- Design, build, deploy, and support AI tools, agents, automations, and web experiences using appropriate platforms, models, or custom code.
- Set technical direction and make trade-off decisions for AI adoption across GBSG Canada Marketing.
- Run demos, showcases, training sessions, office hours, and documentation to enable adoption by marketing teams.
- Build and maintain React-based web components and experiences, including attention to core web vitals, accessibility, and technical SEO.
- Translate engineering standards and technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Identify emerging AI opportunities and introduce effective approaches from Intuit and the broader industry.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience with hands-on experience shipping AI or LLM-powered products into production.
- Strong full-stack or front-end web development experience.
- Demonstrated ability to make and defend technical trade-offs beyond prototype development.
- Ability to operate as a technical expert with limited day-to-day oversight.
- Ability to select tools, models, and platforms based on problem fit rather than vendor preference.
- Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills, including explaining technical concepts to non-technical marketers.
- Experience teaching or enabling users to adopt new tools, or finding and introducing new technical approaches.
- Comfort working in an ambiguous, evolving role.
- Marketing experience is preferred but not required.
