Base Salary
$350k - $475k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write, test, and maintain code examples, recipes, and documentation for the Tinker cookbook.
- Work directly with users to debug technical issues and optimize fine-tuning pipelines.
- Partner with research and infrastructure teams to identify and prioritize developer-experience improvements.
- Build tools, integrations, and demos that reduce friction in experimenting with and deploying models.
- Share user insights through posts, guides, talks, and other educational materials.
- Contribute to Tinker’s near-term roadmap and long-term product strategy.
Requirements
- Experience fine-tuning large language models with supervised and reinforcement learning and tuning related hyperparameters.
- Experience developing software libraries, especially open-source libraries.
- Thoughtful understanding of developer experience, developer ergonomics, onboarding flows, and usability issues.
- Passion for engaging with open-source communities through code contributions, technical support, or shared learnings.
- Experience writing public or internal code examples, tutorials, or papers that explain technical concepts.
- Ability to reason about model training, fine-tuning, and inference and discuss tradeoffs between approaches.
