Responsibilities
- Analyze customer integration requests and translate expectations into detailed Statements of Work.
- Evaluate technical feasibility using interfaces exposed by Mitel and third-party solutions and estimate custom development effort.
- Create and obtain approval for Solution Design Documents covering messaging formats, protocols, database schemas, and process or call flows.
- Develop custom solutions and reporting applications according to approved specifications.
- Install, configure, validate, troubleshoot, and unit-test custom solution software and integration components.
- Provide technical and end-user support during testing and in-service support according to project commitments.
- Lead demonstrations of proof-of-concept and finalized developments.
- Maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers and submit required project documentation, time logs, and expense reports.
Requirements
- A degree in Computer Science or Software Design is preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in custom solution software development.
- Proficiency with SQL database interactions, MS SQL database structures, and database architecture.
- Experience writing application code with .NET, C++/C#, JavaScript, Java, HTML, SOAP, WSDL, RESTful APIs/web services, and XML.
- Familiarity with the telephony industry, ideally Mitel Contact Center and UC solutions.
- Experience with internet payment gateways, CRM systems, WFM systems, custom reporting, or Microsoft Power BI is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Windows OS, server administration, MS Office, and cloud services such as Azure.
- Ability to translate business processes into technical requirements, manage multiple projects, work independently, and communicate effectively with customers.
- Excellent English speaking and writing skills and willingness to travel occasionally to customer sites.
