Responsibilities
- Design comprehensive B2C commerce and frontend architectures for global enterprise clients.
- Translate manufacturing and finance business requirements into target architectures and digital customer journeys.
- Guide integrations among B2C platforms, ERP and finance systems, and manufacturing execution tools.
- Define frontend coding standards, performance optimization approaches, and architectural guardrails.
- Provide technical guidance to development and quality engineering teams implementing commerce workflows.
- Evaluate frameworks, tools, and cloud services for scalability, cost effectiveness, security, and compliance.
- Conduct architecture reviews and risk assessments covering performance, security, and data integrity.
- Coordinate deployment pipelines, automated testing, monitoring, documentation, and operational handoffs.
- Analyze usage metrics, incidents, and stakeholder feedback to recommend architectural improvements.
- Mentor technical teams in B2C frontend practices and domain-specific engineering patterns.
Requirements
- Eight to ten years of progressive experience in technology architecture, design, and implementation across B2C commerce and frontend solutions.
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing catalog management, order flows, pricing models, and secure payment integrations.
- Advanced proficiency with B2C frontend script technologies, including responsive interfaces, dynamic content, cross-browser compatibility, and performance optimization.
- Deep industrial manufacturing domain knowledge covering product configuration, supply chain visibility, and service workflows.
- Finance and accounting domain knowledge covering invoicing, taxation, reconciliation, reporting, financial controls, and compliance.
- Experience coordinating onsite and remote collaboration in hybrid work models and supporting day-shift operations.
- Familiarity with integration patterns connecting B2C platforms to ERP, finance, and manufacturing execution systems.
- Working knowledge of data privacy, transaction integrity, secure session management, and regional compliance practices.
- Proficiency in frontend and commerce performance engineering, including caching, payload reduction, and efficient data access.
- Ability to create architecture documentation, solution diagrams, and implementation guidance for technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Salesforce B2C Commerce Architect Certification or an equivalent B2C commerce platform architect credential.
