Base Salary

$75k - $82k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain native iOS and React Native applications for iPhone and iPad.
  • Implement iOS-specific UI components, system integrations, push notifications, background refresh, and device capabilities.
  • Optimize application performance across iOS hardware, device sizes, and operating system versions.
  • Integrate backend APIs and services and support production applications and critical issues.
  • Write unit and integration tests and perform testing across multiple iOS devices and operating system versions.
  • Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, retrospectives, and continuous improvement of mobile development processes.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers, backend developers, product managers, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Ensure applications comply with Apple Human Interface Guidelines, App Store guidelines, and submission requirements.

Requirements

  • Strong React Native proficiency with a focus on iOS optimization.
  • Experience with iOS development fundamentals, including UIKit, Core Data, and iOS frameworks.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript and Swift or Objective-C.
  • Experience with Xcode, Interface Builder, iOS development tools, and iOS-specific libraries such as Alamofire, Core Location, and Core Animation.
  • Understanding of iOS app lifecycle, memory management, performance optimization, mobile security, and RESTful APIs.
  • Familiarity with App Store Connect, iOS submission processes, automated mobile testing frameworks, and Git or similar version control systems.
  • Understanding of server-side technologies such as .NET Core, Node.js, or PHP; SQL and relational databases; AWS; containerization; automated deployment pipelines; and API design.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and technical explanation skills.
  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred, or relevant job-related experience may be substituted.
  • At least five years of supervisory or management experience is identified as ideal.
