Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot tickets related to software owned by the Data Frameworks domain.
- Provide timely progress updates on assigned tickets.
- Maintain existing software products, including updating third-party dependencies.
- Develop incremental product enhancements under the guidance of senior developers.
- Write software documentation and create or update troubleshooting playbooks.
Requirements
- Programming experience in Python.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or at least 1 year of equivalent software development experience.
- Experience with Git or other version control systems is preferred.
- Knowledge of database technologies is preferred.
- Knowledge of SQL is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Eagerness to tackle problems proactively.
Benefits
- Full-time position with a base salary range of $60,000 CAD to $71,000 CAD per year.
- Unionized position covered by a forthcoming DNEG-IATSE collective agreement, with required union membership and dues once the agreement is in place.
