Responsibilities
- Define and drive Coinbase's technical strategy for Solana staking.
- Lead efforts to maximize validator performance and achieve industry-leading APY.
- Serve as the authority on Solana runtime, consensus, and staking economics.
- Partner with product teams to architect scalable staking integrations.
- Represent Coinbase in the Solana ecosystem and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Write production code and design critical infrastructure for validator operations.
- Mentor and elevate a team of engineers in Solana-specific domain expertise.
Requirements
- Extensive hands-on experience with Solana's architecture and protocol.
- Strong engineering skills with experience in distributed systems and production code in Rust and/or Go.
- Ability to define technical strategies and connect them to business goals.
- Established presence in the Solana ecosystem with relationships in the community.
- Effective cross-functional leadership and communication skills.
- Genuine passion for the Solana ecosystem and its developments.
