Responsibilities
- Design and develop Node.js and TypeScript backend applications and platform integrations.
- Build IoT solutions involving edge-to-cloud integration, MQTT, CoAP, and real-time telemetry processing.
- Develop and integrate AWS IoT services and other cloud-native services.
- Design APIs, integration patterns, microservices, event-driven architectures, and Kafka streaming workflows.
- Configure and manage Kong API management policies, traffic controls, and plugins.
- Work with MongoDB schema design, indexing, querying, telemetry workflows, sharding, and replica sets.
- Develop frontend capabilities with ReactJS, Redux, state management, and performance optimization.
- Support CI/CD, Kubernetes on EKS, Docker, Terraform-based infrastructure, incident response, debugging, and root-cause analysis.
- Collaborate across teams and maintain technical documentation.
Requirements
- 8+ years of strong experience in Node.js backend development with deep TypeScript expertise.
- 5+ years of experience with ReactJS, Redux, state management, and performance optimization.
- Proven experience designing and delivering IoT solutions, including edge-to-cloud integration, MQTT, CoAP, and real-time telemetry processing.
- Hands-on experience with AWS IoT Core, IoT Analytics, Device Defender, IoT Device Management, and other cloud-native services.
- Strong understanding of API design, integration patterns, microservices architecture, Kafka, event streaming, and distributed event-driven systems.
- Solid MongoDB experience, including schema design, indexing, querying, telemetry workflows, and sharding or replica-set concepts.
- Proficiency with Node.js ecosystem frameworks such as Express, Fastify, or NestJS, including asynchronous programming, security, and performance tuning.
- Experience with Kong or another API management platform, including traffic control, policies, and plugin configuration.
- Experience with gRPC, CI/CD tools, Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform-based infrastructure as code.
- Strong analytical, incident response, debugging, and root-cause analysis skills in IoT or distributed cloud environments.
- Knowledge of Java or Python is a plus.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies, engineering best practices, and DevOps principles, plus strong communication and collaboration skills.
- B.Tech, BCA, MCA, or BE qualification.
