Base Salary
$140k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, deploy, and support Mule 4 APIs and integrations using Anypoint Studio and Anypoint Platform.
- Implement reusable and governed API-led connectivity across System, Process, and Experience APIs.
- Develop DataWeave transformations for JSON, XML, CSV, and other payload formats.
- Deploy and operate integrations on CloudHub with runtime properties and environment-specific configuration.
- Apply API policies and security controls, including authentication, rate limiting, and SLA enforcement.
- Create and maintain MUnit test suites with mocks, spies, and coverage validation.
- Document API interfaces, contracts, error-handling patterns, and reusable assets.
- Partner with DevOps and engineering teams on deployment pipelines, environment promotion, observability, and performance tuning.
- Monitor production runtime health, troubleshoot deployed integrations, and participate in incident resolution.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required; a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Three to five years of integration development experience with hands-on Mule 4, Anypoint Studio, and Anypoint Platform experience.
- Salesforce MuleSoft Developer certification is required or must be actively pursued; additional MuleSoft or Anypoint Platform certifications are beneficial.
- Experience designing, building, testing, and deploying REST-based APIs and integrations.
- Strong DataWeave experience across JSON, XML, CSV, and related data formats, including Apache Avro as listed in the posting.
- Experience with API lifecycle practices, API-led connectivity patterns, CloudHub deployment, runtime configuration, production support, and operational monitoring.
- Experience authoring and executing MUnit tests with mocks, spies, and coverage validation.
- Knowledge of RAML and/or OpenAPI Specification, API policies, authentication, rate limiting, SLA management, error handling, and connector-based integration flows.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, source control, environment promotion, performance tuning, and technical documentation.
- Knowledge of Salesforce platforms, enterprise application integrations, Kafka-based real-time data ingestion, and Anypoint Platform components including API Manager, Runtime Manager, and Exchange.
- Experience with connectors and protocols such as HTTP/REST, SOAP, SFTP, databases, messaging, and Salesforce integrations.
- Ability to collaborate with architects, platform teams, engineers, business stakeholders, and globally distributed teams.
- Experience with Agile tools such as Jira and GitHub or comparable DevOps platforms.
