Responsibilities
- Gather and document integration requirements with project stakeholders and help translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Design, configure, and implement integrations, including custom connectors and data transformations.
- Monitor integrations, triage production issues, and recover automated integrations.
- Analyze and improve integration processes and workflows with the DevOps team.
- Use Generative AI and AI coding assistants for API development, DataWeave transformations, debugging, documentation, and test generation.
- Explore AI-powered workflow automation, AI agents, Model Context Protocol, API orchestration, and enterprise knowledge integration.
- Assist with secure integrations between enterprise applications and large language models.
- Create and manage PGP and SSH keys, support integration network requests, and manage API security policies and rules.
- Maintain integration documentation, user guides, and knowledge base articles.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, business analysts, infrastructure teams, and other cross-functional groups.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary academic program in Computer Science, Software Development, or Information Technology and returning to school after the work term.
- Understanding of programming languages and application programming interfaces, including RESTful, SOAP, and GraphQL APIs.
- Familiarity with middleware and Enterprise Service Bus technologies such as MuleSoft, Azure Data Factory, or TIBCO.
- Interest in artificial intelligence, large language models, AI agents, prompt engineering, AI-assisted software development, and AI-powered automation.
- Proficiency working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with publish-subscribe, point-to-point, request-reply, and event-driven integration patterns.
- Experience with AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or Cursor is a strong asset.
- Strong communication, collaboration, analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills, with curiosity and willingness to learn emerging technologies.
