Responsibilities
- Lead the DevOps team and coordinate operations, development, and testing functions.
- Design DevOps architectures and frameworks aligned with project and customer requirements.
- Select DevOps tools and platforms and create deployment models for validation, testing, and performance monitoring.
- Define and manage IT infrastructure supporting software applications.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines across planning, coding, building, testing, staging, release, configuration, and monitoring.
- Develop coding and scripting integrations between software, operating systems, and production infrastructure.
- Support application onboarding and configuration from planning through release.
- Integrate security into the DevOps lifecycle to address cyber risk and data privacy.
- Provide customer support for DevOps tools and resolve internal and external escalations.
- Troubleshoot implementation issues, perform root-cause analysis, and develop corrective solutions for critical problems.
- Provide knowledge transfer, share best practices, and motivate team members.
- Forecast staffing needs, hire resources, train direct reports, and support recruitment decisions.
- Set goals, conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and manage performance issues.
- Drive employee engagement, recognition, career development, and capability-building initiatives.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience.
- Mandatory experience with Ansible Tower.
- Experience designing and managing DevOps architectures, infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and monitoring processes.
- Experience with coding and scripting to connect applications, operating systems, and production infrastructure.
- Ability to troubleshoot DevOps tool implementations and perform root-cause analysis of critical incidents.
- Ability to lead, hire, train, and manage a DevOps team.
- Ability to support customers and manage escalations across multiple platforms.
