Responsibilities
- Define areas for DevOps automation and recommend appropriate tools, solutions, and strategies across technology and business streams.
- Drive automation and standardization to improve operations, uptime, and release efficiency.
- Develop self-healing, scaling, deployment, and operational tools for application teams.
- Automate application building, packaging, testing, deployment, and management across test and production environments.
- Configure and manage code repositories, continuous builds, artifact repositories, cloud platforms, and related DevOps tools.
- Support adoption of continuous delivery, automated testing, continuous integration, and modern release practices.
- Design and implement automation across GCP IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and containerized platforms.
- Manage application codebases, including versioning and branching strategies, and contribute to deployment orchestration.
- Integrate applications with CI/CD pipelines using plugins and bespoke scripts.
- Set up automated monitoring, reporting, and analysis for the DevOps environment.
- Share DevOps and software delivery knowledge and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Use AI tools to improve productivity and workflows while applying responsible judgment to data and AI outputs.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience understanding and implementing DevOps in projects achieving CI/CD.
- At least 4 years of experience with code repositories, code merging and quality checks, continuous integration, automated deployment, and application management.
- Experience with industry-standard DevOps tools such as Jenkins, SVN, Git, Ansible, Terraform, Artifactory, ServiceNow, Sonar, and Selenium.
- A strong software development process background and hands-on experience with the listed cloud, application development, version control, CI/CD, build, DevSecOps, deployment, monitoring, and scripting technologies.
- Experience designing and implementing DevOps automation in public cloud and containerized environments.
- Experience integrating applications with CI/CD pipelines through plugins or custom scripts.
- Ability to collaborate with architecture, infrastructure, operations, business, and engineering teams.
- Ability to apply critical judgment when using AI tools and handling data and AI outputs.
