Responsibilities
- Architect and implement automated CI/CD build, test, and deployment workflows using Harness.io and GitHub Actions.
- Develop and maintain Terraform infrastructure-as-code pipelines for consistent cloud provisioning and configuration.
- Operate and optimize cloud resources in AWS or Google Cloud Platform, including compute, networking, storage, and IAM.
- Onboard application services to pipelines, define branching strategies, and automate release gates.
- Integrate security policies, vulnerability detection, secrets management, testing frameworks, and observability into CI/CD workflows.
- Build reusable pipeline templates and shared libraries to accelerate delivery across teams.
- Diagnose pipeline failures, infrastructure provisioning errors, and environment drift.
- Monitor vulnerabilities identified by Wiz and Macroscope and coordinate remediation with engineering and security stakeholders.
- Configure secure log forwarding from application and infrastructure layers to observability platforms such as Splunk.
- Migrate legacy technology implementations to modern container and Kubernetes platforms.
- Define and enforce logging standards that meet compliance, audit, and monitoring requirements.
- Support day-to-day systems operations, research technology trends, and help drive internal adoption of new tools.
- Mentor and train junior and mid-level engineers and assist with technical issues and framework onboarding.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
- At least 6 years of experience in IT with expertise in complex technology solutions.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes container orchestration.
- Experience with Terraform, continuous integration build engines such as Jenkins, and CI/CD practices.
- Familiarity with policy-as-code tools such as OPA and security automation including vulnerability scanning and secrets management.
- Understanding of Git branching strategies such as GitFlow and trunk-based development.
- GCP or Azure cloud certification and SAFe certification are requested.
- Experience working with remote onshore, nearshore, and offshore teams.
- Experience managing large codebases containing legacy and modern technology and moving legacy code to the cloud.
- Experience with SF DX.
- Ability to mentor engineers, collaborate across development and security teams, and support technology adoption.
