Responsibilities
- Contribute as a Technical Lead across technical streams of EIS insurance platform implementation projects.
- Design, test, implement, and deploy new EIS solutions, modules, and system features.
- Develop solutions and expand system functionalities within R&D-focused implementation projects.
- Conduct workshops, pilots, and proof-of-concept initiatives.
- Coordinate and communicate with onsite teams and monitor project deliverables.
- Mentor project team members and guide other developers.
- Collaborate with R&D teams to identify and implement EIS technologies, solutions, and best practices.
- Report R&D project progress, document implementation results, and conduct post-implementation reviews.
- Travel to customer locations when required and participate in organization-wide people initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Science, or another technical qualification.
- 9+ years of experience in a corporate IT environment in a similar position.
- Hands-on experience with Insurance Policy Core, Billing Core, Claims Core, or Customer Core platforms.
- Core technical experience with Java/J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, Spring Boot, microservices, REST and SOAP web services, Apache Camel, CXF, and Kafka.
- Experience in the Property & Casualty insurance domain.
- Experience with OpenL Tablets and knowledge of Vue.js are desirable.
- Experience implementing Auto/Motor and Home lines of business using EIS is desirable.
- Certificates in Java, Spring, SQL, AWS or Azure Cloud, Angular, or React are desirable.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology and client-facing roles is desirable.
- Strong communication and business communication skills, independence, willingness to mentor team members, and willingness to expand technical skills.
