Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate production-grade Python services for automated wealth management.
- Translate quantitative investment models into portfolio management and trading workflows.
- Develop optimization algorithms balancing investment objectives, risk, transaction costs, taxes, and client preferences.
- Build and maintain taxation logic and contribute to Altersvorsorgedepot (AVD) systems.
- Design APIs and integrations connecting the robo-advisor with internal and external systems.
- Build scalable cloud infrastructure for burst workloads and high-volume trade processing.
- Own automated testing, continuous integration, deployment, and production monitoring.
- Collaborate with investment managers, traders, wealth managers, and software and quantitative developers.
Requirements
- Excellent university degree in computer science, mathematics, natural sciences, or a similar field.
- Knowledge of econometrics, portfolio optimization, and risk modeling.
- Working knowledge of capital taxation fundamentals.
- Experience with convex optimization and libraries such as cvxpy, scipy, or cvxopt.
- Strong interest in Python and global financial markets.
- Interest in Docker, CI/CD pipelines, serverless architecture, Terraform, relational databases, SQL, and AWS.
- Fluent written and spoken English, clear communication skills, and a proactive, independent working style.
