Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and coach a team of five senior presales engineers delivering ERP solutions.
- Lead technical discovery, solutioning, demonstrations, proposals, and project plans for strategic lower mid-market opportunities.
- Build complete solutions combining Acumatica software, ISV solutions, AI, professional services, integrations, customizations, and partner capabilities.
- Develop scalable processes across Acumatica partners, internal sales, implementation, and professional services teams.
- Maintain ERP domain expertise and hands-on depth in one or more verticals, including manufacturing, construction, distribution, retail, and professional services.
- Enable partners through consulting, training, materials, and technology to improve opportunity close rates.
- Translate company goals into KPIs covering win rates, sales cycle time, utilization, and skillset coverage, and plan corrective actions.
- Recruit, develop, and mentor presales engineers to improve performance and engagement.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience building solutions and demonstrating business management software.
- At least 5 years of direct experience managing and mentoring a team of presales engineers.
- Hands-on implementation, sales, or presales experience in lower-mid-market manufacturing, construction, and/or distribution businesses.
- Understanding of lower-mid-sized business operations and the ability to architect solutions involving multiple software products, resource constraints, integrations, and customizations.
- Strong analytical, communication, presentation, public-speaking, and classroom or small-group instruction skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business.
- MBA, CPA, channel sales experience, and a technical background are preferred.
- Ability to travel 10%–20% of the time.
