Base Salary
$123k - $192k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate the distributed event-driven execution engine for test and validation workloads.
- Own shared frameworks, execution orchestration, test data management, environment provisioning, observability, and self-service tooling.
- Design and maintain AI-powered developer tools and agents, including code generation, intelligent test generation, automated review, and optimization capabilities.
- Set platform architecture and technical direction with emphasis on scalability, reliability, testability, and performance.
- Evaluate emerging tools, frameworks, and AI capabilities, develop proofs of concept, and drive adoption.
- Mentor engineers on distributed systems, modern development practices, and AI-assisted tooling.
- Drive continuous validation in CI/CD pipelines through smart gating, parallelization, and rapid feedback.
Requirements
- Experience building or integrating AI coding assistants, copilots, autonomous agents, LLM integrations, prompt engineering, or AI-powered developer tools.
- Experience building and operating distributed systems at scale using event-driven architecture, messaging or streaming systems, and horizontally scalable services.
- Production experience with Docker and Kubernetes, plus CI/CD automation using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core, and SQL Server.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure on Azure or AWS.
- Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React or Angular.
- Technical depth in distributed systems and AI strategy, along with strong debugging, profiling, and performance analysis skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively with distributed teams.
- Preferred experience leading complex cloud-based SaaS applications at scale and working with microservices, distributed coordination, high-throughput workload orchestration, contract testing, service virtualization, in-memory databases, and test containers.
