Base Salary

$144k - $194k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Build and launch new AWS products.
  • Solve complex software engineering and system design problems.
  • Improve the developer experience for customers building solutions spanning AWS regions.
  • Develop or optimize resilient, reliable, and highly available data transfer or routing systems.
  • Design UDP-based transport systems for high-throughput, low-latency workloads and address packet loss mitigation.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
  • Current, active US Government TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
  • Preferred: 4+ years of full software development life-cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Preferred: experience with UDP-based data transport systems and packet loss mitigation strategies.
  • Preferred: experience building data transfer or routing systems focused on resiliency, reliability, and availability in capacity-constrained or outage-prone environments.
  • Must be a US Citizen and maintain the required active clearance.
