Responsibilities
- Build and operate platform services that support operational scope, permissions automation, service commitments, and operational health measurement across AWS Regions.
- Deliver software end to end from design and coding through deployment and live-site operation, scaling it to additional teams and Regions.
- Develop generative AI and agentic capabilities that automate routine operational response.
- Partner with operators, service teams, and data scientists to turn operational data into tooling that reduces manual effort.
- Write tested, maintainable code and contribute through code reviews.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- 1+ year designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Preferred: 5+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: 4+ years designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services.
- Preferred: 2+ years contributing to new and existing systems architecture and design.
