Responsibilities
- Drive Kubernetes adoption and help migrate services to Kubernetes.
- Shape the architecture, tooling, and operational practices supporting production services.
- Write software at scale with consideration for performance, security, and cost.
- Develop and operate globally distributed cloud services.
- Participate in an on-call rotation supporting the platform.
- Share knowledge and help other engineers learn.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Strong software engineering experience building and operating production services at scale.
- Hands-on experience migrating services to Kubernetes.
- Practical experience deploying, monitoring, and troubleshooting distributed services in a cloud environment.
- Strong understanding of computer networking.
- Preferred experience with Go, Google Cloud Platform, GitOps tools such as ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, Terraform, Prometheus, Grafana, and MySQL, Redis, or Cassandra.
- Must have the right to work in Norway.
