Responsibilities
- Build greenfield systems and improve existing backend systems.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing backend services.
- Build REST APIs and engineer microservices.
- Develop systems supporting card payments, treasury management, transaction booking, and crypto liquidity.
- Apply clean code, maintainability, TDD, domain-driven design, and continuous integration and delivery practices.
- Collaborate with the team to create products that support financial inclusion and cross-border money movement.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in backend development and fluency in Java.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or another engineering or science discipline.
- Experience building complex products used by millions of people in hypergrowth startups.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including English fluency.
- Ability to learn quickly and bring an ambitious, results-driven approach.
