Responsibilities
- Build and maintain scalable, high-performance UI and backend services.
- Develop frontend functionality using TypeScript, Angular, JavaScript, and related frameworks.
- Develop backend APIs and services using NodeJS and Python in Linux/UNIX environments.
- Design and optimize SQL queries, relational database schemas, indexes, and stored procedures.
- Implement REST API patterns and design concepts.
- Apply unit testing to UI and backend codebases.
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing, UX, QA, Account Management, and backend platform teams.
- Apply software engineering practices including coding standards, code reviews, source control, documentation, automated testing, and operations.
- Use AI-enabled development tools for coding, debugging, documentation, and automation.
- Support scalable deployment architectures, monitoring, CI/CD, and engineering escalations from customers.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of software development experience, including at least 3 years of UI development experience.
- At least 3 years of experience with design patterns, modular JavaScript, ES6, frontend debugging, and frontend build processes.
- Experience with Angular 15 or later is preferred.
- Backend API development experience is preferred, including at least 6 months of experience as a plus.
- Hands-on experience with JavaScript, AngularJS, NodeJS, Python, or other backend languages.
- Proficiency in SQL and relational databases, including query optimization, schema design, indexing, and stored procedures.
- Knowledge of data structures, object-oriented programming concepts, web application performance, scalability, and security considerations.
- UI and backend unit testing experience is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, or an equivalent degree.
- Experience with Agile and Scrum practices and software development life-cycle best practices.
- Knowledge of large-scale deployment architectures, monitoring, and CI/CD.
- Experience with AI-assisted coding and automation workflows, prompt engineering, LLM usage, RAG, agentic AI, and model fine-tuning.
- Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, operational, and project management skills.
