Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable GCP solutions integrating workflows, data processing, storage, and enterprise applications.
- Develop and optimize GCP Workflows to orchestrate cloud services and automate operational processes.
- Architect GCP Dataflow pipelines for transforming, enriching, and moving large datasets for real-time and batch analytics.
- Configure and manage GCP Databases, Cloud SQL, and Cloud Storage for secure, resilient, and cost-effective data management.
- Use BigQuery to create scalable data models and queries supporting reporting and advanced analytics.
- Translate finance and accounting requirements into compliant GCP cloud solutions.
- Establish Cloud Repository structures for version control, reusable components, and collaborative development.
- Monitor GCP workloads using logging and performance metrics and improve reliability and resource utilization.
- Document solution architectures, data flows, and configurations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and mentor peers on GCP architecture and design practices.
Requirements
- Advanced hands-on proficiency with GCP fundamentals, including compute, networking, storage, and identity management.
- Practical experience with GCP Workflows, GCP Dataflow, GCP Cloud Storage, GCP Cloud SQL, GCP Databases, GCP Cloud Repository, and GCP BigQuery.
- Ability to design and develop scalable, secure, performant, and reliable GCP cloud architectures.
- Experience building integrated cloud solutions that combine multiple services into cohesive application and data platforms.
- Relevant finance and accounting domain background, including understanding of reporting and compliance needs.
- Clear communication skills for explaining technical designs, trade-offs, and implementation details.
- Ability to deliver testable and maintainable code using modern development practices and tooling.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for diagnosing GCP system issues and implementing durable fixes.
- GCP Professional Cloud Architect or GCP Professional Data Engineer certification is preferred.
