Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support software solutions for credit investment workflows across frontend, backend, integration, and data layers.
- Build and maintain APIs, services, user-facing applications, investment data services, reporting platforms, and analytics capabilities.
- Partner with the Credit Engineering Lead on architecture, system design, technology decisions, technical roadmaps, and platform modernization.
- Develop cloud-native, containerized, microservices-based, distributed, and event-driven solutions using Kubernetes and cloud platform services.
- Design integration services using APIs, messaging, event streaming, and asynchronous processing across investment and enterprise data platforms.
- Develop observability, logging, monitoring, operational support, automated testing, CI/CD, release management, and deployment capabilities.
- Participate in code reviews, design reviews, troubleshooting, production support, and all phases of the software development lifecycle.
- Mentor Associate and Analyst software engineers through code reviews, design guidance, and technical coaching.
- Collaborate with Product Management, investment professionals, portfolio management, operations, Data & AI teams, and business stakeholders.
Requirements
- A BS in Computer Science or a related field is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
- 5-8 years of software engineering experience delivering enterprise applications.
- Experience with large-scale software delivery, complex business environments, production application support, and cross-functional technical and business collaboration.
- Advanced proficiency in Java or Python and modern backend development frameworks.
- Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript.
- Strong experience with relational and non-relational databases, APIs, integration patterns, service-oriented architectures, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Experience implementing event-driven architectures, messaging and streaming technologies, cloud-native applications, Kubernetes, and containerized platforms.
- Experience with SDLC, CI/CD, automated testing, DevOps tooling, debugging, performance tuning, troubleshooting, documentation, and operational excellence.
- Experience mentoring developers or providing technical leadership across development initiatives.
- Financial services experience, particularly with investment management, capital markets, lending, credit, or alternative asset management platforms, is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with DealCloud or other pipeline management systems and credit systems such as Allvue is preferred; WSO experience is a plus.
- Strong technical communication, collaboration, ownership, accountability, and delivery skills.
