Responsibilities
- Build user-facing Android features for dispensing systems.
- Own features end to end, including planning, communication, implementation, and delivery.
- Contribute to reliable releases across hundreds of deployed devices.
- Integrate Android software with hardware and firmware, including serial communication and device-state behavior.
- Support Android development for the consumer mobile app as needed.
- Use AI agents as part of the daily development workflow.
- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, product, Service Engineers, logistics partners, and Client Support.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience building and shipping Android software.
- Strong Android platform knowledge and professional Kotlin experience.
- Ability to independently deliver well-scoped work and identify when senior support is needed for high-risk decisions.
- Daily experience building with AI agents.
- Curiosity about or experience with on-device, kiosk, embedded-adjacent, or AOSP development is preferred.
