Responsibilities
- Drive technical discussions and application architecture decisions.
- Implement and maintain programming standards.
- Design and manage development, testing, monitoring, and change-management processes.
- Collaborate with product teams to align technical and business goals.
- Identify and address technical debt and improve team productivity.
- Use AI tools to optimize drafting, analysis, research, or process automation and recommend effective AI use.
Requirements
- 5+ years of native Android mobile development experience.
- Hands-on experience with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
- Familiarity with data structures, system design, design patterns, API design, MVP or MVVM, declarative UI, Git, and DevOps.
- Full-stack background is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud services, GraphQL, and Firebase is a plus.
- Interest in news and creativity, with a journalism background considered an advantage.
