Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support scalable Java and Spring Boot microservices and REST APIs.
- Participate in requirements, architecture, design, deployment, and production support activities across the full SDLC.
- Troubleshoot application issues and remediate SAST, SCA, and DAST security vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with architects, SMEs, QA, DevOps, and cross-functional teams.
- Perform code reviews and ensure secure coding, performance, quality, and maintainability.
- Integrate AI/GenAI capabilities into enterprise applications and identify AI-driven automation opportunities.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to improve coding, testing, documentation, and developer productivity.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree and 4–6 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 6 years of experience with Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security.
- Strong experience with microservices and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, Git, Maven or Gradle, Jenkins, and Docker.
- Understanding of application security, debugging, and performance tuning.
- Exposure to GenAI, LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, and AI-assisted development.
- Experience with Azure or AWS and Agile/Scrum is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with GitHub Copilot, Azure OpenAI/OpenAI, Spring AI, or LangChain4j is preferred.
