AWS Cloud Integration Engineer II - Hybrid

Base Salary
$97k - $146k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement serverless integration solutions using AWS services.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and event-driven integrations for enterprise applications.
- Use AWS SDKs, APIs, and connectors to integrate third-party SaaS platforms.
- Define integration patterns and data flows with AWS Integration Architects.
- Optimize integrations for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Conduct unit, integration, and end-to-end testing and troubleshoot integration issues.
- Monitor and log API transactions using AWS CloudWatch, X-Ray, and other observability tools.
- Document integration designs, API specifications, and implementation details.
- Collaborate with development teams, DevOps engineers, architects, product teams, and business stakeholders.
- Share best practices and provide technical guidance to junior engineers when needed.
Requirements
- At least three years of hands-on AWS cloud development and integration engineering experience.
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, MIS, or an equivalent degree, or relevant work experience.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or Node.js for developing AWS Lambda functions and APIs.
- Strong expertise in AWS Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, Step Functions, and EventBridge.
- Understanding of RESTful API design, OAuth, JWT, and API security best practices.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Preferred experience integrating enterprise SaaS applications such as Salesforce, Workday, or ServiceNow.
- Preferred knowledge of event-driven architecture, messaging patterns, data transformation, ETL pipelines, and AWS Glue.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
