Responsibilities
- Own technical strategy and long-term technical relationships for a portfolio of strategic partners.
- Lead technical discovery, architecture design, demonstrations, workshops, prototypes, and proofs of value for partners and joint customers.
- Guide partners through OpenAI deployments from evaluation through production adoption and measurable business impact.
- Build partner technical capability through enablement, reusable architectures, solution patterns, workshops, and mentorship.
- Establish standards for partner-delivered solution quality and identify architecture, implementation, security, evaluation, and adoption risks.
- Coordinate OpenAI specialists across deployment, implementation, security, product, enablement, and domain teams.
- Track partner capability, technical pipeline progress, production adoption, usage, solution quality, and customer impact.
- Turn repeatable engagement patterns into architectures, playbooks, reference solutions, and best practices.
- Share partner and customer insights with Product, Engineering, Research, and Partnerships to inform product and ecosystem strategy.
Requirements
- Significant experience in senior customer- or partner-facing technical roles such as solutions architecture, partner engineering, field architecture, technical account leadership, AI deployment, or technical consulting.
- Experience working with system integrators, consulting firms, or technology partners and understanding how they sell, architect, and deliver enterprise technology.
- Experience guiding complex enterprise organizations from technical discovery and evaluation through production deployment, adoption, and measurable business impact.
- Ability to build credibility with CTOs, CIOs, CISOs, executives, AI leaders, architects, and hands-on engineers.
- Strong software and cloud architecture foundations, including APIs, distributed systems, enterprise data, integrations, identity, security, privacy, and governance.
- Understanding of modern AI systems, frontier LLMs, agentic applications, model evaluation, retrieval, and enterprise AI workflows.
- Ability to prototype and work confidently with APIs, SDKs, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience enabling technical organizations at scale through repeatable architectures, training, patterns, and practices.
- Understanding of enterprise security and compliance requirements for safely moving AI systems into production.
- Strong judgment, communication, prioritization, partner leadership, and end-to-end ownership skills.
