Base Salary

$155k - $223k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop virtual board models for next-generation routing platforms.
  • Model FPGA ASICs, devices, sensors, and related hardware components.
  • Integrate hardware component models and packet-processing models into virtual board environments.
  • Design, implement, and optimize simulation software and development tools.
  • Develop digital twins for router and AI fabric products.
  • Build and maintain reliable, large-scale distributed systems.
  • Develop automated tests and perform comprehensive regression testing.
  • Debug simulation models, device drivers, and network operating system software.
  • Provide technical support to engineering teams.
  • Contribute to relevant open-source projects and technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of related experience, master's degree plus 3 years, or PhD plus 0 years in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Software Engineer developing simulation models.
  • Experience with system-on-chip design and architecture.
  • Experience developing software in C++ in Linux environments.
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery processes.
  • Experience using Python for test automation.
  • Experience debugging models, drivers, and operating systems.
  • Preferred experience includes functional or system-level simulation models, FPGA or ASIC modeling, packet-processing models, large-scale distributed systems, Cisco IOS XR or SONiC, networking software, and chip modeling and performance analysis.

Benefits

  • The posted starting salary range is $155,000.00 to $222,600.00 annually, excluding incentive compensation, equity, and benefits.
