Base Salary
$155k - $223k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop virtual board models for next-generation routing platforms.
- Model FPGA ASICs, devices, sensors, and related hardware components.
- Integrate hardware component models and packet-processing models into virtual board environments.
- Design, implement, and optimize simulation software and development tools.
- Develop digital twins for router and AI fabric products.
- Build and maintain reliable, large-scale distributed systems.
- Develop automated tests and perform comprehensive regression testing.
- Debug simulation models, device drivers, and network operating system software.
- Provide technical support to engineering teams.
- Contribute to relevant open-source projects and technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of related experience, master's degree plus 3 years, or PhD plus 0 years in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Software Engineer developing simulation models.
- Experience with system-on-chip design and architecture.
- Experience developing software in C++ in Linux environments.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery processes.
- Experience using Python for test automation.
- Experience debugging models, drivers, and operating systems.
- Preferred experience includes functional or system-level simulation models, FPGA or ASIC modeling, packet-processing models, large-scale distributed systems, Cisco IOS XR or SONiC, networking software, and chip modeling and performance analysis.
Benefits
- The posted starting salary range is $155,000.00 to $222,600.00 annually, excluding incentive compensation, equity, and benefits.
