Base Salary
$100k - $136k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own technical designs for complex customer delivery projects across data models, API workflows, and integration patterns.
- Partner with sales, implementation, and customer success during pre-sales and kickoff to assess feasibility, complexity, scope, and alternatives.
- Define reusable integration patterns and determine what should remain bespoke, be templated, or be productized.
- Partner with Product and Engineering on platform gaps, roadmap priorities, and new API and platform capabilities.
- Guide FDEs and Product Delivery teammates by reviewing approaches, unblocking design decisions, and addressing difficult technical problems.
- Investigate customer environments and third-party systems to diagnose issues, validate assumptions, and de-risk designs.
- Document successful patterns, anti-patterns, and lessons learned for team reuse.
Requirements
- Experience in solutions architecture, forward-deployed engineering, implementation engineering, technical project management, or a similar customer-solution design role.
- Experience designing integrations across multiple systems such as ERPs, CRMs, billing, payments, or tax platforms, ideally in fintech, SaaS, or B2B environments.
- Strong systems and API fluency, including the ability to read documentation, reason about data models and edge cases, and design durable workflows.
- A track record of surfacing customer and field feedback to influence Product and Engineering priorities.
- Strong cross-functional communication experience with go-to-market, Product, Engineering, and customer stakeholders.
- Comfort working in a startup environment with imperfect requirements, changing priorities, and high customer expectations.
- Familiarity with SQL and light scripting such as Python is preferred.
- A background in finance, accounting, revenue operations, or implementation of billing, revenue recognition, accounts receivable, or close platforms is preferred.
- Experience integrating with NetSuite, Sage Intacct, QuickBooks, Salesforce, or HubSpot is preferred.
- Exposure to ASC 606 or other revenue recognition frameworks is preferred.
