Responsibilities
- Write and improve technical documentation for code and systems.
- Build tools supporting documentation, including systems for error messages, logs, automated emails, and library docstrings.
- Improve existing training programs such as OCaml Bootcamp and developer teach-ins.
- Create new technical training materials where valuable.
- Write tutorials, technical overviews, internal developer handbook chapters, blog posts, programming podcast content, conference materials, and recruiting-event content.
- Spend meaningful time embedded as an engineer on a project to understand how the company writes software.
Requirements
- Excellent writing ability.
- Programming ability sufficient to navigate the codebase, work through tutorials, and write technical examples.
- Experience with functional programming, expressive type systems, OCaml, and finance is not required; the company will teach these areas.
