Responsibilities
- Lead application-transformation strategy and planning with enterprise customers.
- Define application architectures and lead large-scale migration and modernization initiatives.
- Support the design, development, testing, and release of cloud-optimized services and products.
- Define and lead the implementation of non-functional requirements.
- Lead discussions with customer and AWS Partner executives and other leadership stakeholders.
- Coordinate and lead AWS Professional Services members, AWS Partners, and global AWS teams.
Requirements
- Experience serving as an application architect or architecture leader on projects involving large-scale system migration, modernization planning, or application architecture definition.
- Experience defining and leading the realization of non-functional requirements as an architect.
- Business-level Japanese reading, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to lead business and technical discussions with customers and AWS Partners.
- Preferred: experience leading projects toward customer business outcomes.
- Preferred: experience leading the conception, design, and development of cloud-optimized business applications.
- Preferred: enterprise architecture experience and leadership of application design and development using AWS services.
- Preferred: English communication skills with global internal teams.
- Preferred: leadership experience on large-scale systems projects, such as those for financial institutions.
- Preferred: experience developing AI-enabled applications or leading AI application development teams.
