Responsibilities
- Own enterprise machine learning operations on the Databricks Lakehouse platform.
- Design, automate, and govern end-to-end ML production lifecycles.
- Build automated CI/CD/CT pipelines using Databricks Asset Bundles, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
- Implement central governance, enterprise security controls, secret management, multi-environment deployment isolation, and real-time observability.
- Serve as the principal technical authority and bridge platform engineering with client-side operations.
- Lead enablement initiatives, workshops, technical handovers, and upskilling for onsite engineering teams.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in data engineering, machine learning engineering, or DevOps.
- 3+ years specifically leading Databricks MLOps or data platform implementations.
- Advanced proficiency in Azure Databricks or AWS Databricks, PySpark, MLflow, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and Python.
- Strong experience building automated CI/CD/CT pipelines with Databricks Asset Bundles, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
- Deep understanding of enterprise security controls, secret management using Key Vault or KMS, and multi-environment deployment isolation.
- Proven client-facing technical leadership experience with strong communication skills for enablement, workshops, and technical handovers.
