Base Salary
$160k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and evolve Bloomberg Office Apps functionality across Microsoft Office and other productivity applications.
- Build performance-critical backend services, client-side application logic, and developer-facing APIs.
- Improve software performance, stability, scalability, and code quality.
- Work with backend infrastructure teams, product managers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Apply testing, automation, and peer review practices.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Recent professional experience with modern C++.
- Experience building software for high-performance, multithreaded environments.
- A strong focus on code quality demonstrated through testing, automation, and peer review.
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Clear communication and effective collaboration with product and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience with TypeScript or JavaScript is preferred, or willingness to learn.
- Exposure to distributed systems, API design, or cloud-based architectures is preferred.
