Responsibilities
- Design and implement the trading engine and order matching system.
- Develop and iterate the customer-facing trading interface.
- Build APIs and integrations for market participants and clearinghouses.
- Create real-time market surveillance and monitoring systems.
- Develop scalable data pipelines for market data and trade reporting.
- Contribute to evolving team standards for engineering best practices.
- Mentor teammates and help new hires ramp up.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Compliance teams to meet market needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of full-stack software engineering experience.
- Expert-level proficiency in backend languages, preferably Python or Go.
- Expert-level proficiency in TypeScript and React.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and API design.
- Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, well-tested code.
