Base Salary
$154k - $236k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop the next generation pipeline for building, releasing, and testing products.
- Deploy and maintain CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments.
- Manage critical applications on cloud-native microservices architecture.
- Collaborate with product security teams to identify and remediate vulnerabilities.
- Design systems for monitoring infrastructure and responding to incidents.
- Iterate on best practices to enhance deployment quality and velocity.
- Plan and support major infrastructure improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; CS degree preferred.
- Five years of experience in software development, DevOps, or SRE roles.
- Five years managing cloud-based services with AWS, GCP, or Azure (AWS preferred).
- 3+ years experience with Infrastructure as Code using Pulumi or Terraform (Pulumi preferred).
- 3+ years of Docker/Kubernetes experience in production environments.
- Deep understanding of networking and ability to maintain complex networks.
- 3+ years experience writing software that utilizes 3rd party APIs (Go preferred).
- Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Familiarity with modern software engineering tools (Git, GitHub Actions, JIRA).
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VirtualBox, VMWare).
- Experience in hybrid cloud environments and managing metrics systems (Grafana, Prometheus).
- Experience with Linux environments.
- Belief in the importance of test and process automation.
- Ability to balance rapid development with long-term maintainability.
- Strong debugging skills under pressure.
- Desire to automate and build software tools.
- Customer-centric approach to enhance user experiences.
- Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote setting.
- Self-motivated and proactive.
