Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to determine user requirements.
- Identify dependencies and create design documents for products, applications, services, or platforms.
- Create, implement, optimize, debug, refactor, and reuse code.
- Drive workgroup project plans, release plans, and work items.
- Act as a Designated Responsible Individual and guide other engineers.
- Monitor systems and respond to degradation, downtime, and service interruptions.
- Improve product availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, performance, monitoring, and operations at scale.
- Work closely with customers, project managers, and cross-functional engineering teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s and/or graduate degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent.
- 6+ years of professional development experience.
- Experience with C++, C#, big data, machine learning, natural language processing, and search technologies.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Cloud Services, including Azure, Entra, and O365.
- Security awareness, including penetration testing and threat analysis.
- Strong analytical skills, customer engagement ability, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements.
- Ability to work with geographically dispersed teams and independently tackle new challenges.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including fluency in English.
- Preferred experience as a Software Developer Engineer and understanding of cloud, AI, and other computing technologies.
