Responsibilities
- Present Snowflake’s technology, vision, roadmap, and functionality to executives and technical contributors.
- Demonstrate and communicate Snowflake’s value throughout the sales cycle, including demos, proofs of concept, design, and implementation.
- Create technical champions within customer accounts to drive deals and achieve technical wins.
- Maintain knowledge of competitive and complementary technologies and vendors.
- Collaborate with sales engineers, Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, ecosystem partners, and implementation partners.
- Represent Snowflake at industry and customer events.
- Contribute to account and territory plans and execute related initiatives.
Requirements
- Solution engineering or solution architecture experience in a SaaS environment or relevant analytics, data science, or data engineering industry experience.
- Outstanding presentation skills for technical and executive audiences, including whiteboarding, presentations, and demos.
- Understanding of data architecture, data analytics, and cloud technology.
- Hands-on experience with SQL.
- Ability to solve customer-specific business problems and apply Snowflake’s solutions.
- Strong written and verbal customer-facing communication skills.
- Experience with global and strategic accounts is preferred but not required.
- Experience with AI, data science, and machine learning technologies is preferred but not required.
