Responsibilities
- Participate in daily and weekly scrum meetings and related activities.
- Investigate and resolve incidents and problems while meeting SLA/SLO targets.
- Conduct root-cause analysis and implement preventive solutions to improve platform resilience.
- Perform ServiceNow platform health checks and monitor system performance and integration failures.
- Plan and support ServiceNow release upgrades and related activities.
- Support release validation, post-release monitoring, and deployment checklists.
- Maintain technical runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge base articles.
- Own the detailed design and development of ServiceNow integrations.
- Conduct design reviews and provide technical leadership.
- Contribute to AI and AIOps initiatives, platform automation, and improved AI literacy.
- Ensure adherence to code quality, unit testing, and security standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, technology, or an equivalent field.
- Five to ten years of overall industry experience, including a minimum of five years working with ServiceNow.
- Advanced, hands-on experience delivering technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow UI Actions, imports, transforms, menus, workflows, catalog requests, scripting, business rules, and jobs.
- Experience with web services, integration protocols, Integration Hub and spokes, and SOAP/REST-based APIs.
- Strong understanding of ITSM concepts including change, problem, and incident management.
- Strong knowledge of AngularJS, JavaScript, and client-server scripting in ServiceNow.
- Understanding of ServiceNow CSM, mid-server, CMDB data models, classes, and relationships is preferred.
- ServiceNow certification is a differentiator.
- Experience with external integration platforms such as Boomi or TIBCO is a differentiator.
- AI, AIOps, and machine learning skills are differentiators.
