Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and improve automated test scripts and reusable frameworks for APIs, UI components, and backend services.
- Execute functional, regression, performance, and automated test suites across multiple environments and analyze results.
- Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and rapid release cycles.
- Identify, report, track, troubleshoot, and debug defects in collaboration with developers and product stakeholders.
- Prepare test data, configure environments, maintain test settings, and document test cases, results, scripts, and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on requirements, test coverage, validation, and continuous quality improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience developing and executing automated tests for enterprise or web applications.
- At least 3 years of Python experience for automation scripting and at least 4 years of experience with test automation frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with PyTest, Robot Framework, Selenium with Python, or Behave.
- Experience with API testing, SQL-based database validation, UI testing, and backend testing.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Preferred experience with JMeter or Locust, cloud environments, test management and reporting tools, and additional scripting languages such as JavaScript or Shell scripting.
- Testing or automation certifications such as ISTQB or Certified Agile Tester are a plus.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, prioritization, collaboration, and continuous-learning skills.
