Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain server-side components using C# and .NET Core/Framework.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs, including versioning, pagination, error handling, documentation, and secure authentication and authorization.
- Develop middleware and integration components connecting internal services with external systems through adapters, routing, transformation, and orchestration.
- Implement synchronous and asynchronous integrations with resiliency, logging, tracing, metrics, and observability.
- Write unit and integration tests, support automated CI/CD pipelines, and maintain code quality through reviews and static analysis.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and deliver performance and reliability improvements.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, and QA to refine requirements, estimate work, and deliver sprint features.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for APIs, integrations, configuration, and runbooks.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of hands-on experience with C#, .NET, server-side development, REST APIs, and middleware integration.
- Experience developing high-performing, scalable enterprise applications and integrations.
- Knowledge of relational databases, MongoDB, and Redis is preferred.
- Ability to collaborate with product owners, architects, clients, designers, and QA in an iterative software delivery environment.
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada without current or future employer sponsorship.
