Responsibilities
- Architect and design Spring Boot microservices and event-driven streaming solutions.
- Design integrations between producers and consumers, including management of offsets, partitions, and checkpoints.
- Develop secure RESTful APIs, asynchronous communication patterns, reusable components, reference architectures, and microservices frameworks.
- Architect cloud-native solutions using Azure services and related cloud components.
- Lead hands-on coding, code reviews, proof-of-concept development, architecture reviews, and solution governance.
- Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions and ensure engineering quality and design best practices.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to build automated CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
- Lead and mentor engineering teams through design, development, and deployment.
- Optimize event streaming throughput, partitioning, consumer performance, system availability, fault tolerance, and scalability.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and tracing and troubleshoot production performance issues across distributed services.
Requirements
- 15+ years of software engineering experience, including at least five years in technical leadership or solution architecture roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Spring Security, and RESTful API development.
- At least three years of expertise with Azure Event Hub, Kafka, or other event streaming platforms.
- Understanding of microservices architecture, Domain-Driven Design, CQRS, and event sourcing.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, including AKS.
- Working knowledge of Azure Key Vault, Application Insights, Azure Functions, and App Services.
- Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automation frameworks.
- Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and system design skills.
- Ability to collaborate across DevOps, Security, Product, and Support teams.
